Supporting women in setting and reaching their feeding goals
I am passionate about empowering women in their physical autonomy whilst they feed their babies. I work by providing women with evidence based information about how their bodies work, how infant feeding works and helping them to set their own feeding goals whether it be breast feeding, bottle feeding, or a combination. We then create a practical and manageable plan to achieve those goals, allowing parents to enjoy their baby and the feeding experience.
I can help with:
- Latching and positioning at the breast
- Under/Over supply management
- Nipple pain
- Breast pain
- Mastitis
- Reflux
- Introducing a bottle
- Weaning off the breast
- Safe formula feeding
- Paced bottle feeding
- Therapeutic Ultrasound Treatment
- Low Level Laser Therapy
I specialise in women who are struggling with feeding and also experiencing postnatal depression and anxiety specifically related to infant feeding

Review
Marilia is nothing short of an angel, and I wish more women knew about the incredible support she offers. She guided me through breastfeeding my first baby during an extremely challenging start—dealing with inverted nipples, tongue-tie, muscular tension, nipple trauma, multiple blocked ducts, and early inefficiency at the breast. Any one of these issues could have made me give up, especially the pain and injury, and I truly couldn’t have navigated it alone. Marilia treated my nipple trauma with targeted laser therapy, helped me avoid mastitis several times, taught me how to prevent future issues, and—most importantly—helped my baby learn to latch properly, even through a period of temporary bottle-feeding and gradual weaning back to breast. She is kind, patient, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping women. I feel incredibly lucky to have found her during such a difficult time.
