Our Breastmilk Storage Bags are perfect for mums to store breastmilk in the fridge or freezer, lying flat or standing up.

You can pump directly into our breastfeeding bags from any Lansinoh Breastpump allowing you to save time and prevent messy milk transfers or spills. These bags are a great way for mums to create a bank of breastmilk that can be stored until they are needed for up to 6 months.

What are storage bags made of?

Made from food-safe polyethylene, our freezer bags for breastmilk are tough and flexible, so they won’t leak. They come with a hygienic, tamper-evident, and secure tear-away top to ensure no toxins reach the breastmilk. The write-on tab makes it easy for mums to keep track of how long the breastmilk has been stored, by noting down the date. Our milk storage bags have been awarded Silver in the Loved by Parents Awards 2022 for ‘Best product for breastfeeding’ and Bronze in the Mother & Baby awards 2021 for ‘best product for breastfeeding’.

How to use breastmilk bags?

Tear the perforated seal and either pour breastmilk into the bag or pump directly using a Lansinoh® breast pump. Gently squeeze out any air before sealing the top of the bag. Write the date and amount expressed on the top tab. This can then be stored in the fridge for up to 6 days or in the freezer for up to 6 months. You can store the bags laid flat or standing.

TIP: Place a piece of kitchen roll between each bag before freezing to avoid any moisture on the outside of the bag freezing and sticking the bags together.

How to dispose of milk storage bags?

Dispose of the used Breastmilk Storage Bag in your LDPE recycling (please check your local authority for plastic type 4 LDPE recycling).
