My mission is to empower mums to breastfeed their babies, whether one, two or three at a time, give evidence based information and empathic support and to educate others that breastfeeding more than one baby is definitely possible.
Kathryn has been supporting families to breastfeed their babies for more than 15 years. She is experienced in all scenarios but has a specific interest in twins, triplets and early term/late preterm babies. She has breastfed twins herself and realised very quickly that she had been lucky to have some excellent breastfeeding support, and that this was not always the case. She founded Breastfeeding Twins and Triplets UK Facebook group in 2015 and it has recently become a UK registered charity offering breastfeeding support to families, education for health care professionals and breastfeeding supporters, and has funded peer support training. Kathryn is also a speaker and about to become a published author.
Kathryn offer home visits in and around the Harrow areas covering Harrow, Brent, Hillingdon, South Hertfordshire and East Buckinghamshire. Please do make contact if you are outside this area to check, as she may be able to see you. And Kathryn also offers 1:1 video calls for those outside of her area. Perfected over lockdown, video calls can actually be very effective.
Alongside her colleague Miraim Feen as “The Lactation Corner”, Kathryn offers Preparing to Breastfeeding Zoom session and a variety of post-natal workshops, as well as a fortnightly group clinic at Eastcote House Gardens for follow up, breastfeeding support and baby weighing
