I initially trained and worked in the Arts, but changed my career after my second child was born prematurely. This was incredibly challenging, and the care I received was variable. I was lucky enough however to find a lactation consultant, who offered consistent and evidence-based information, which made the whole experience much more comforting and rewarding. As a result, I became passionate about sharing this approach with others. I trained with the ‘Breastfeeding Network’ in 2006 and then became an IBCLC in 2011. I have a busy private practice, regularly run breastfeeding drop-ins, lead parenting classes and professional trainings. I live in North London with my husband, two sons and a cat
